All the papers in this volume have been revised and expanded since their initial presentation at the Canadian Bar Association’s annual competition law conference held in September 1997. Recognizing that the quality of the papers presented at the annual conference deserve wider circulation than simply to the attendees of the conference, this is the first time that they are published separately.
