(Current Update Release 9)

International Telecommunications Law includes coverage and analysis of the telecommunication laws, regulations and licensing practices and procedures of 38 countries, the European Union, Mercosur, and the North American Free Trade Agreement. The telecommunications field plays a vital role in the prosperity of nations and affects trading practices on both national and international levels. The increasing importance of the telecommunications industry has caused numerous legal, technical, financial, and commercial issues to emerge that significantly affect the future of information services. Cross-media and foreign ownership issues have led to legislation in many jurisdictions. This work is a comprehensive guide and analysis to the dynamic field of telecommunications law.
