Croatia: Law on the Transformation of Socially-Owned Enterprises
The principal purpose of this legislation is to transform enterprises with social capital (public enterprises) into business companies. The management of the publicly owned enterprise should decide whether to transform the enterprise into a joint stock or limited liability company. Each transformation must be approved by the Agency for Reconstruction and Development. The law specifies June 30, 1992, as the date by which the transformation process should be completed.
